King Charles III Coronation

At Mount Pleasant, we believe it is important for our children to understand and appreciate the cultural heritage of our country. The coronation of King Charles III provides a unique opportunity for our children to learn about the monarchy and its role in our society.

Throughout the week, children took part in a variety of activities and lessons to learn about this momentous occasion. From history lessons exploring the royal lineage to art projects creating crowns and flags, the children had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the excitement surrounding the coronation. We ended the week with our Big Coronation Picnic!

We were all proud to be part of this historic moment, and enjoyed celebrating the coronation of King Charles III within Mount Pleasant Primary family. We hope the day inspired our children to appreciate and respect our country's rich traditions and values.
