Gymnastics

We are incredibly proud of our KS1, Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 gymnastics teams who have been working hard since the start of Spring 1 with Miss Collins in gymnastics club.

They have learnt and refined a whole range of skills from floor work to working on apparatus such as the vault. A selection of the gymnastics club went on to represent Mount Pleasant in the Dudley gymnastics competition; it was a fantastic morning and all the gymnasts showed off their talents and tried incredibly hard throughout.

With over 20 teams in each category, it was a tough competition but we are so happy to share the success of each team: 

KS1

7th place !  (out of 24 teams)

Year 3/4

1st place ! (out of 30 teams)

Year 5/6

Joint 2nd place! (out of 30 teams)

A special congratulations to Year 3/4 who are through to the the Black Country games competition! We will keep you posted with how they get on in this competition.
