Bikeability - Road Safety

Year 6 had a fantastic two days of Bikeability this half term. We started at Stevens Park learning many of the key skills including primary and secondary position, riding in a snake, signalling, use of our gears and performing u-turns safely. We put this all into practice on roads around the park and roads around school on day two. We considered applying this to junctions, parked cars and what to do when there is a car on the road. What wonderful, safe cyclists we have at Mount Pleasant!
